• Genelia shocks John 

  
  So John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza are doing the remake of Ka Ka Ka. The two are great friends but they are such contrasting personalities. John is a stickler for eating healthy whereas Genelia loves her junk food. The other day she craved wada pav and samosas. So the actress ordered some from a nearby food stall. She was relishing her wada pav when John chanced upon her. He was shocked to see Genelia relishing the junk food. The actor gave her a dressing down and told her it wasn’t healthy. Genelia being Genelia of course heard him out politely, then shrugged her shoulders and munched away.

• Aftab-Somy Ali bond 

  For those of you who are wondering what happened to Somy Ali after she broke up with Salman Khan, she’s happily settled in America. Our source in the States now reports a new development in Somy’s life. We hear that Aftab Shivdasani who was in America recently met up with Ali. They bonded big time. Hmmm. It gets even more interesting.  We hear they even took a little road trip together. Gos is that the two are dating.

• SRK to test trial Ra.One with his children's friends 

  Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One is almost ready. There’s huge excitement surrounding this superhero flick. Those who have seen it say that it has some world class SFX. But Shah Rukh Khan being Shah Rukh Khan won’t stop at anything to ensure that his movie is well received. We hear he’s going to test trial the movie with Aryan’s friends. Since it’s a children’s film, he wants to see how Aryan and Suhana’s friends react to the movie. Of course the moment Aryan’s classmates heard of SRK’s plans, they were seen clamouring to be picked for the test trial team.

• Salman to redo his van
  

  More on Salman Khan. The actor wants to redesign his van. He wants to make his van user friendly and comfortable. The responsibility to find him professionals who’d do the needful fell on brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. So he dropped in on the sets of Ready with professionals to redo the van. And Salman’s brief was, “No thaam-jhaam please. Keep it simple and functional. I don’t want anything hi-fi that will eventually not work.” Sallu was more concerned about the plates that shake when the vanity van is on the road. It disturbs him when he’s trying to catch up on his sleep. So his diktat was to make the van as comfortable as possible. The professionals promised that the needful would be done. As they say, what Salman wants, Salman gets.

• Asin teases Salman 

  On the sets of Ready, Salman Khan and Asin were shooting the climax scene. It was their wedding scene and the heat was getting to Salman. So the moment the shot was okayed, he rushed into his van threw off his dhoti-kurta and changed into shorts and t-shirt. When Asin saw this she remarked, “Finally, we’re married and look at him. He’s thrown away all the bandhan (pointing to the dupatta that’s tied between the groom and bride).” Everyone burst out laughing and Salman smiled sheepishly. For once, he had nothing to say.

• Aishwarya's Sugar rush 

  Aishwarya Rai sure has a sweet tooth and she loves chocolates. Recently, she had such a craving for sugar that she walked into a cake shop owned by none other than former Miss India Sarah Jane. Sarah incidentally makes her debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Game. So when Aishwarya entered the shop, she created quite a flutter amongst the staff.  Which is quite expected.  The staffers excitedly called up Sarah to inform her about their prestigious customer. Sarah of course was thrilled and she immediately sent a message to Abhishek thanking him for patronising her shop.

• Ajay’s party for daughter
  

  That Ajay Devgn is a doting father there’s no doubt. The only problem is that the actor doesn’t get enough time with his kids these days. Last year he had to cancel his vacation with daughter Nysa because of hectic shooting schedules. Nysa of course wasn’t too happy but she had no choice. The father later made it up to her by throwing a huge Christmas party for Nysa. The bungalow garden was decorated with balloons, festoons and lights. And all of Nysa’s friends were invited. A deejay conducted the proceedings.  The party was held not on one but on two consecutive days. Ajay, of course was busy doing interviews for Toonpur Ka Superhero, the entire day. But as the party began, Nysa started calling up her father, who promptly rescheduled the remaining interviews and joined his daughter in the celebrations. Needless to say, fun was had by all.

• Madhuri’s big surprise 

  Madhuri Dixit is creating waves on the reality show.  Her popularity knows no bounds. People seem to be pouring in from all corners just to have a glimpse of the actress. Recently, she had unexpected guests. The car stopped outside the set and from it emerged her husband Ram Nene, their two sons Arin and Ryan with her parents. They chilled in her van before they joined the actress on the set as chief guests. Her sons, who were new to the buzzing activty on the sets, were hugely excited. They had numerous queries about everything that was going on and mama dear was only too happy to explain everything.

• Arjun misses SRK’s Dubai holiday
  

  Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar were in Dubai to bring in the New Year. Apparently they had a rollicking time there. We hear Arjun Rampal too was supposed to join the gang in Dubai but he cancelled his plans at the last minute. Know alls claim that all is not well between Arjun and Shah Rukh. They insist that the two have had a major fall out. Now could this be true? Hmmm.

  On Sujoy ghosh’s sets of Kahani, all the ADs and crewmembers were extremely fond of Vidya. They had fondly named her Sunshine. On the last day of the shoot when she was set to leave Kolkata, it started raining and everyone was like it is raining because our sunshine is leaving.
